Highlighting my journey from 911 supervisor and mom to a teenager to becoming an accidental TikTok creator, all without a single dance move! Starting community outreach and social media at your center can feel overwhelming, this presentation shows our center's slow but steady progression from always being forgotten and left out to being highly requested at events. This includes tips on low cost but effective tools for in person outreach as well as tips for creating successful social media posts.

At the culmination of this session participants will be able to go back home and create their own outreach and engagement teams to build meaningful connections with their community.
At the culmination of this session participants will be able to better use their social media platforms to connect with citizens. They will have a better grasp of the analytics of each platform to get more engagement when they post.
At the culmination of this session participants will go home with ideas of games they can easily create to use in community settings to teach both adults and children about 911 and the services their center offers.
