Having a training program is essential for training new hires. This session will guide you through training essentials and how to build a successful center training program. Whether you are starting from scratch or have a program that just needs updating. We will look at building a new hire evaluation manual with forms, check lists, study material and all your documentation needs for a successful training program. We will also discuss learning methods and training roadblocks for trainers.
Learning Objectives:
Participants will be given examples of and learn how to build documents relevant to the needs of their agency training program.
Participants will be given examples of Performance Improvement Plans and DOR's and be able to provide better documentation for their agency evaluation of trainees.
Participants will learn the different styles of adult learning and how to overcome roadblocks they might encounter as a trainer.
