We'll explore strategies for building confidence and independence, using positive reinforcement to encourage growth, and improving information retention in the fast-paced 911 environment. Additionally, we'll discuss when it’s crucial to intervene, ensuring safety while providing valuable learning opportunities. By embracing mistakes, we can develop more capable and self-reliant team members, preparing them for the real-world challenges they’ll face in emergency services.

By the end of the session, attendees will be able to identify and explain at least three key benefits of allowing mistakes in training.
