This session will guide you through timeless principles of courage, empathy, resilience, and authenticity, empowering you to lead with strength, courage. and wisdom, no matter what lies ahead on the Golden Brick Road of public safety.
Learning Objectives:
Develop and Apply Courageous Leadership: Attendees will learn to identify key moments when courage is required in their roles as telecommunicators, applying principles from the Cowardly Lion's journey to demonstrate bravery under pressure. By the end of the session, participants will be able to implement at least three actionable strategies for making courageous decisions, even in high-stress or emotionally taxing situations, improving their ability to lead and support their teams effectively while cultivating self-awareness and emotional intelligence to better navigate these challenges.
Cultivate Critical Thinking, Resilience, and Emotional Intelligence: Attendees will gain practical tools for improving their critical thinking skills and mental resilience, drawing inspiration from the Scarecrow’s character. Participants will learn how to enhance their problem-solving capabilities in fast-paced, high-pressure environments, while building emotional intelligence to better understand and manage their own emotions as well as those of others.
