To encourage and develop leadership qualities in new Communications Center Supervisors. Many 9-1-1 telecommunicators possess recognizable leadership traits and abilities that led to their promotion; they just need a helping hand to recognize them in themselves. I will discuss leadership styles and how they impact interaction and acceptance from team members. In addition, there will be suggestions on how to cultivate and develop the careers and talents of their subordinates.
