Touring an emergency communications center (ECC) is a great way to view first-hand how other communication centers operate on a day-to-day basis. Sign-up is on a first-come first-serve basis and will be available on the day of the tour at the Information Booth in the Baltimore Convention Center. Space for each tour is limited to the first 50 registrants.
All tours depart from/return to the Baltimore Convention Center, Pratt Street Lobby, Level 200 Transportation Desk.

You may only sign up yourself and not others for the tour. A photo ID is required to sign up.
Description: The Baltimore County 911 Center is one of the largest PSAPs in Maryland. It was established on January 15, 1980 as a consolidated PSAP with over 200 civilian employees. Baltimore County is the third largest jurisdiction in Maryland in land and population. It covers 682 square miles with over 800,0000 residents and is home to many waterways.
