Neil Horden has over 40 years of experience in wireless communications and technology systems. As a Solutions Engineer for EFJ-Kenwood he is responsible for developing advanced technology systems to meet the requirements of public safety and government enterprises. Previously as Principal Consultant for Horden Technologies LLC, he supported the Public Safety and wireless communications markets with strategic, technical, product marketing, and procurement assistance. His other experience includes Chief Consultant for a major national consulting firm, and work in technology strategy development and product management for Motorola.
Mr. Horden is well-known in the mission critical communications industry having conducted numerous seminars at conferences in the United States and Canada. He is a member of the National Emergency Number Association (NENA), the Association of Public Safety Communication Officials (APCO) previously serving on their Commercial Advisory Council, a member of the Project 25 Technology Interest Group (PTIG), and a Member of the Next Generation 9-1-1 Institute.
He holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the University of Delaware, and an MBA from the University of California. He was previously Chief Engineer for WMPH-FM and WXDR-FM (now WVUD), and was an EMT and Cardiac Rescue Technician in the State of Delaware.
