Telecommunications Policy Consultant
Greg Cooke has more than 30 years of experience providing strategic guidance and expert legal advice on telecommunications policy matters, including more than two decades in leadership positions at the Federal Communications Commission. At the FCC, he served as Chief of the Office of Intergovernmental Affairs and, prior to that, as Deputy Chief of the Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau's Policy and Licensing Division, where he was instrumental in the launch of the nation's Wireless Emergency Alerts system and oversight of the Emergency Alert System. His prior roles also include management positions in the FCC's Wireline Competition Bureau, private law firm practice, and acting as FBI special agent Bauer in Season Six of “Homicide: Life in the Street,” shot in Baltimore. Greg is a graduate of Boston University and Fordham University Law School. He retired from the FCC in July 2021 and now operates as an independent consultant.
