Greg O'Brien, CPE is the Deputy Director of Hendricks County 911 (Indiana) where he is responsible for 47 team members and 28
police and fire agencies. Before starting his public safety career, he was a general manager for a large restaurant chain. Greg began his public safety career in 2014 as a Communications Officer/Telecommunicator, eventually working his way up to Shift Supervisor, Operations Manager, and currently Deputy Director in 2024. Greg is a graduate of Anderson University (2009), NENA CMCP class of 81, and APCO CPE class of 17. Greg is married to his high school sweetheart and has two children. He enjoys running, live music, and progressive discipline.
