Redic Morris is a veteran public safety leader and retired Deputy Sheriff with Fairfax County, bringing over 35 years of distinguished service in Fairfax County Government. As the Strategic Planning Manager for the Fairfax County Department of Public Safety Communications (DPSC), Redic plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of emergency response through the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies that drive operational excellence and community impact.

A graduate of the Fairfax County Criminal Justice Academy, Redic brings a career-long commitment to innovation, equity, and public service. He is an alum of several prestigious leadership programs, including the International Association of Chiefs of Police Leadership in Police Organizations, the Fairfax County Middle Managers Roundtable, Leadership Fairfax Institute, and George Mason University’s Executive Certificate in Higher Impact Leadership.

His work bridges strategic planning and community engagement — with key contributions to initiatives such as:

• Virginia 9-8-8 Planning Coalition
• Fairfax County Communities of Opportunity
• DPSC Partnership with Fairfax County Public Schools Academies

Redic’s service and leadership have been recognized with the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce Bronze Medal of Valor and multiple Outstanding Performance and Team Excellence Awards.

With a deep understanding of both frontline operations and strategic systems, Redic brings a unique perspective to public safety leadership.
