Kimberly Kuszak currently serves as the Telephone Systems and Technology Manager for Sarpy County Emergency Communications. She brings over twenty-five years of public safety experience, having held various positions in public safety agencies across Sarpy County, Nebraska, and Pottawattamie County, Iowa. Kimberly is an active member of Nebraska APCO/NENA, APCO International, and NENA.
Throughout her career, Kimberly has pursued professional development to enhance her leadership and technical skills. She earned her Certified Public Manager (CPM) certificate from the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) in 2019, and her Emergency Number Professional (ENP) certification through NENA in 2020. In 2023, she completed a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Management, with a minor in Public Administration and a concentration in Information Technology, also from UNO. In May 2024, she completed the Center Manager Certification Program (CMCP). Kimberly is currently enrolled in the Master of Public Administration (MPA) program at UNO and is completing the Registered Public-Safety Leader (RPL) Program through APCO International.
In her free time, Kimberly enjoys searching LEGO.com for her next creative project and is a devoted fan of the Professional Lacrosse League (PLL).
