Jessica Robinson is a dedicated and detail-oriented professional with 18 years of experience in the 9-1-1 industry. She has successfully implemented her own succession plan, progressing through a series of pivotal roles. Beginning her career as a frontline telecommunicator, Jessica advanced to Certified Training Officer (CTO), then Lead CTO, followed by Administrative Supervisor. Currently, she serves as Deputy Director, continuing to prepare for her ultimate goal of transitioning into a Director's position.
Jessica combines her expertise in organizational leadership and nursing to drive innovation and inclusiveness in the workplace. As a leader, she is deeply committed to fostering a strong, healthy work culture that prioritizes elite-quality service to public safety agencies, excellent care for the community, and team-based collaboration with neighboring organizations.
In addition to her professional responsibilities, Jessica actively contributes to the 9-1-1 industry and her community through various leadership roles. She serves as Director of the APCO Executive Board (Illinois Chapter), a member of the APCO Editorial Committee, and Women United of Kankakee County. She is also a General Board Member of The Association for the Preservation of St. Rose of Lima Chapel, where she owns and preserves the historic chapel through community involvement.
Jessica is passionate about transitioning the 9-1-1 industry into the technological age of dispatching while ensuring inclusiveness and collaboration within her teams. She mentors and coaches her staff to refine their skills and thrive in their roles, focusing on succession planning and leadership development to ensure the continued success of the 9-1-1 profession.
Jessica balances her professional achievements with her personal life, as a proud dog mom to Wall-E Bocephus, and her dedication to community engagement and historic preservation.
