Desmond Harris

Desmond Harris has been with the Cobb County Department of Emergency Communications for the past ten years, currently serving as the Community Relations Coordinator. He recently completed his Associate's degree in Communications and is now pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management from Jacksonville State University.

Throughout his career at Cobb County 911, Desmond has held various roles, including Communications Training Officer, peer support team member, and leader of the morale committee. In his role as Community Relations Coordinator, he focuses on sharing the story of the Cobb County 911 team through social media, representing the organization within the community, and organizing outreach, recruitment, and public education efforts.
