Establishing a strong training program is vital for onboarding new hires effectively. This session will walk you through the fundamentals of developing a successful center training program-whether you're starting from scratch or enhancing an existing one. We'll cover how to create a new hire evaluation manual complete with forms, checklists, study materials, and essential documentation. Additionally, we'll explore various learning methods and address common challenges trainers face during the training process.
Learning Objectives:
Participants will be given examples of and learn how to build documents relevant to the needs of their agency training program.
Participants will be given examples of Performance Improvement Plans and DOR's and be able to provide better documentation for their agency evaluation of trainees.
Participants will learn the different styles of adult learning and how to overcome roadblocks they might encounter as a trainer.
