Seventy percent of successful civilian rescues from structure fires occur when DISPACTHERS determine humans are trapped and relay that information to responding firefighters. Do you know what information firefighters need to help them “make a grab?” Do you have real life tools to rapidly gather that information. A structure fire is an in-progress emergency for firefighters. The information our dispatchers obtain is critical to the success of any fire incident, especially one that entraps civilians. This program will provide real life tools for dispatchers to give every civilian and firefighter the best chance at survival when trapped in a fire.
