Aerica Ramos began her career in public safety communications more than 20 years ago as an Emergency Communications Operator. She worked as a shift supervisor, training coordinator, center manager, and now serves as Assistant Communications Commander at the Florida Highway Patrol, overseeing a team of more than 250 communications personnel across the state of Florida. Aerica has a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from the Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Social Science from Florida State University. She is passionate about developing the next generation of ECC leadership. She believes that the key to a healthy and thriving work culture begins and ends with committed leaders at all levels of the organization.
