Paul Jokerst

Emergency Communications Administrator
O’Fallon Police Department

Paul Jokerst started his career as a Communications Specialist (Dispatcher) in 1988. Since then, Paul has held such positions as Community Service Officer (jailer), Radio Systems Administrator, Information Technology Administrator, Police Officer, Sergeant, and Chief of Police. Since retiring from active-duty law enforcement, Paul has continued to serve in public safety and currently serves as the Emergency Communications Administrator for the O’Fallon Police Department in Missouri. Paul has and continues to play an active role in the reclassification of communication officers across the nation. Paul is an active member in APCO and serves as the Region 7 Representative for the Missouri 911 Directors Association.
