Lori Henricksen is the founder of BX3 Public Safety LLC. With a passion for dispatch training and consulting, she shares her insights through the Comms Coach Podcast and collaborates with CommsCoach by GovWorx. Lori's dedication to public safety education is evident in her pioneering work. She established the innovative Emergency Telecommunications Program at Veterans Tribute Career and Technical Academy in Las Vegas, Nevada. As a regional instructor with IAED , she holds certifications in EMD, EFD, and EPD. Her career in public safety began at the age of 16 at the Las Vegas Interagency Communications Center, where she served as a law enforcement and fire dispatcher for both the BLM and USFS. Subsequently, she spent 14 years at the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department as a 9-1-1 emergency communications dispatcher and trainer/instructor. Lori's commitment to professional development is reflected in her numerous certifications, including CIT, Active Assailant, Suicide Intervention Skills, Youth Mental Health First Aid, and FEMA CERT-Instructor. She helped develop Nevada DOE’s state standards and end-of-program tests for ET and law enforcement courses. Recognized locally and nationally for her exceptional contributions to 9-1-1 education and instruction, Lori continues to inspire and empower the next generation of public safety professionals.
