Nicole Lewis is the Public Safety Communications Academy & Outreach Manager for the Charlottesville-UVA-Albemarle County ECC. She oversees the Academy, ensuring new dispatchers receive the training needed to succeed. Nicole began her dispatching career in 1996, holding various roles with a focus on training and development. She is passionate about fostering an inclusive environment where every student feels valued. Known for saying “chocolate IS a learning aid,” she keeps the classroom candy jar well-stocked to boost the learning experience.
Nicole holds numerous certifications, including ENP and CMCP. She serves on NENA’s Education Advisory Board, grateful for the opportunity to help shape the future of 911 training. Outside of work, Nicole loves spoiling her dachshund, Carly, and planning her next cruise.
