Ricky J. Lynn, Detective Lynn has 44 years of law enforcement experience in New York and Kentucky. Detective Lynn started his career in Upstate New York dispatching and working the road. In 1995, Detective Lynn took a position with the Lexington Police Department in Kentucky and was the first full time Human Trafficking Detective. Detective Lynn has worked many human trafficking cases federally and state cases. Detective Lynn has also taught law enforcement and telecommunicators for over 20 years. Detective Lynn has written courses reference hostage negotiation, sexual assault investigations, human trafficking, and personal crimes. Currently Detective Lynn works for the Frankfort Police Department in their Special Victim’s Unit and teaches adjunct for the Department for Criminal Justice Training and for the Kentucky State Police. In 2023 Detective Lynn stated his own consulting company teaching human trafficking. In 2022 Detective Lynn received the career achievement award by the International Human Trafficking Investigators Association.
