911 Coordinator / Training Officer
Warren County Communications Center
Washington, New Jersey
A 28-year communications professional, holding national instructor certifications as 9-1-1 Officer / EMD / CPR and CTO. Having worked in both a single seat PSAP to a county-wide PSAP has allowed me to speak genuinely to all levels of Front Line Telecommunicators. Currently titled as Captain, puts me in an administrative capacity as Communications Training Officer & County 911 Coordinator, yet have the ability to sit a console to remain at the level we expect of our people and ensure our training standards are continuing to meet the highest levels. Also having 38 years of working in the EMS field, and having first hand life experiences, both positive and negative on both sides of the radio has enabled me to bring realistic and unique presentations. These life experiences have fueled my passion for training while bringing excitement and realism to the classroom which allows the attendees to walk out feeling better prepared than when they walked in. It has been an honor to share my experience on local, state, and national stages. In 2020 I combined my two passions in life, 911 & Bowling to create 911 Bowler, (a.k.a Dude). A fun character turned emotional support object that travels the country with me. To help promote 911 and all things mental health related, including PTSD awareness. 911Bowler has turned into a great conversation starter. Thousands of people now follow his social media adventures on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. People enjoy getting their picture taken with Dude, will you be next?
